"On the stage of yoyogi national sport stadium, as one of the world pro karate kobukan glove's matches, a fight was held between Ariel Mastove,who is 8 times, continuously, the champion (w.p.k.a. kobukan israel branch chief ) and the hard puncher, John Dickson (u.s.a boroadin jim ) with a history of fights in "pride" all over 21 fights with 17 victories.

In consideration of the weight differences, Mastove 89kg, John Dickson plus 31 kg, at the first round, for a short while Dickson's punches were heavily hitting the opponent to the point Mastove was trapped at the ring corner. However, after a few minutes an endless attack of Mastove’s heavy punches straight to Dickson’s face, which left him unconscious. It was a perfect knockout.

A while after the fight was over, Dickson said that as a fighter who used to knockout his opponents with his right hand, it was a big shock for him to be defeated in his best skill. He was asking for a second chance from the w.p.k.a kobukan -the organizers."

"The I.B.E.A Kobukan, which is spreading world wide, continues to perform and currently their 14th tournament at Yoyogi National Sport Stadium. As a karate style that believes and values a one-act victory, the tournament successfully shows the specialty and skillfulness of the sport.

Unfortunately at the first part of the tournament, few fights were stopped due to fouls techniques - there were a lot of punches to the face. In spite of that fact, even just watching this tournament was a very good lesson in karate fights.

The last event in this tournament was a special glove matche between Mastove, who is the winner 5 time continuously (the i.b.e.a kobukan), and the Taikwando American champion, Sims. Hitting and changing direction, Mastove's special kick skills against speedy non stop, long distance, Sims kicks .

At the first round Mastove quickly took an advantage using his punches, little before the end of it, Sims was "paying back". It was a back and forth game during the second round, but at the beginning of the third round Sims started to loose stamina, exactly than Mastove started to punch very accurate punches to Sims face and he was knockdown."
