who we are
The organization was established in 1985 in Tokyo, Japan by shihan Maezawa Takayoshi, 8th dan.

The initials represent the two parts of our activities. One is the karate, the international budo (martial arts) exchange association (I.B.E.A), and the other is the pro-karate, the world pro-karate association (W.P.K.A).
